Features

ApcoFlex Aluglass tape is a pressure sensitive Rubber resin adhesive with Foil glass fabric and self-wound in release liner., The glass cloth backing have high performance flame retardant solvent acrylic adhesive protected by an easy-release silicone release paper., the facing surface treated and protected by special coat to protect surface against weather conditions / UV protection and prevents build-up of bacterial contamination, fungus and due formation, It’s already tested and comply with ASTM C 1338-08 Anti-microbial (Anti-Fungal) & ASTM G22-96 Antibacterial – growth (0)
Facing layer provide excellent protection and reflection of weather humidity, dust accumulation, build-up of bacterial contamination fungus and dew formation, moreover it completely prevents weather conditions and scratching mechanical loads to affect Aluminium foil layer as it’s flexible and closed cell
Aluminium layer provides excellent reflecting of both heat stresses and
Glass fabric layer work as reinforcement to Aluminium foil layer against mechanical loads and stresses, it protects Aluminium foil itself from such loads and increase tensile and punishing strengths in all

Application

(ApcoFlex) high tensile strength Aluglass Tape specially developed for (ApcoFlex) Polyolefin Foam insulation, moreover it’s used when high holding power required, it’s widely used for HVAC industry for jointing and sealing, Duct board joints and seams, jointing and sealing flexible air Ducts seams and connections, it can be used also for other industrial uses requiring tape with these characteristics and benefits.

Production Range

Cut Roll: 48/50mm (2″), 60/63mm (2.5″), 72/75mm (3″), 98mm/100mm (4″), all with or without release paper.

Surface Peparation

The surface to which the tape is applied must be clean, dry, and free of grease, oil or other contaminants.
